A few of our spies were able to infiltrate the enemy base. Here is the intel we were able to gather through their hard work. Unfortunately some of them were not able to make it back safely...
The Flies
These little buggers are generally harmless when they are by themselves. They can only hold one character at a time. But be warned, when they fly in giant swarms, it can get difficult to bat them down in time. They can carry lower case letters, upper case letters, numbers and symbols. They flight straight across the screen at a steady speed. There have been rumors that there are "super" flies that can fly at an incredible speed, but the encounters with them are rare.
Crawlers
These four legged monsters move at a fairly slow pace, taking giant steps however. They hold words that can range in size, but typically words with four or more characters are found on these giant walkers. They are often found with the Flies as their air support.
Grounders
This new breed of monster is going to be very tough to deal with. Like the Flies it carries a single letter, number or symbol at a time. It traverses the ground, sliding along until it feels threatened. When threatened, it burrows into the ground, rendering it completely immune to your lasers!
Peacocks
These monsters are cousins of the Flies. They are also single letter, number or symbol carriers. However, they fly in a wave pattern, which generally does not cause a problem until you have a group of them intertwining, making the labels more difficult to spot.
UFOs
These flying saucers carry whole words as they fly across your screen. When they enter hover mode as they remain stationary, they put up their force shields, rendering them invincible to any of your attacks. When the force shields are up, they become semi-transparent. Attack them while they are moving!
Rollers
These monsters look like bumpy wheels with an eye. They move by rolling on their sides, making their single letter, number or symbol difficult to read as they rotate. If you are not sure what the orientation of the label should be, use the eye as a marker. The eye appears on the top of the letter, number or symbol always.
Fish Rockets
These giant fish-looking rockets carry fairly long words. The difficulty in destroying these monsters lies with the fact that they accelerate as they move across the screen. Be sure to get rid of them early before they pickup too much steam to zip right by you.
Hopefully we will be able to gather more intelligence on new and unknown monsters soon! We do not have a whole lot of volunteers for this reconnaisance mission...
