The Basketball Companion
The Basketball Toolbox has a set of tools for basketball players to aid their game. The toolbox currently contains two apps, the playbook and the scoreboard.
Playbook
The Playbook app is similar to a coach's clipboard where you can drag around player and basketball markers to show various formations and plays to your teammates. If you want to run and organize certain plays, the playbook can certainly help you coah your teammates on what to do during certain plays. The playbook includes a snap-to-grid option where you can enable grid-snapping for your markers. You can also control how fast you want to animate your plays (1/2x, 1x and 4x). Once you take the time to setup formations and plays, you can save them for future use. You can also toggle between full field or half the field.
Scoreboard
The Scoreboard app has a simple score keeping user interface along with a timer. You can enter the 2 team names and start tallying the scores for both teams. The timer be set to count up or count down from a preset time. Set the timer and then touch the time on the timer view to start and stop the timer. If you exit the timer while the timer is still running, the timer will still run when the app is closed. For instance, if you set the timer to 15:00 and while it is running you exit at 14:30. Then restart the scoreboard app 4 minutes later, it will automatically start counting down from 10:30.
